Turbo Re-Install Kit GTP38 for Ford 7.3L (99-03) - GZ-14-009
Kit for re-installing your Early 99-03 stock GTP38 Turbo and is a must have whenever you remove the turbo, replace the compressor wheel or simply performing turbo maintenance.
The kit comes complete with two Flange Bolts that are metric grade 10.9, zinc coated. The metric grade 10.9 specification is a hard bolt material that will stand up to the rigors of traversing rough terrain while holding the turbo in place tightly without stretching the bolt threads. This is the same flange bolt design that comes as original equipment.
NOTE: Other kits that contain standard machine bolts with washers allow enough movement that the bolts can loosen over time.

Why take a chance
Why take a chance after the same bolts to been torqued four or five times they should be replaced for insurance

Turbo Re-Install Kit 99-03
Very high quality components. My only comment, regarding shipping the O rings with the bolts. Aviation Practice is to not expose O rings to any kind of nicks. I would respectfully suggest putting the O rings in a separate plastic bag to eliminate any chance of nicking the O rings on the threads of the bolts.

Necessary kit for turbo removal
Great value for headache-free installation. Stoked to use new bolts instead of the stockers.
I wish the kit included the large o-ring for spider attachment.

Great Components
I removed my turbo once before to do the EBPV delete and reseal the pedestal. I probably could have reused that kit but opted to be safe with a new kit. Parts were high quality and had the tubo installed in minutes.

My old orings were SHOT. They were brittle and were starting to leak. Leaks are gone now.
