This Motorcraft 5R100 transmission filter can be used on 2003-2007 6.0L Powerstrokes for better filtering when installed in conjunction with the 08-10 6.4L Transmission pan.

Good filter upgrade
This is a good upgrade gg1 or a 6.0, but the best filter is a bypass filter, got one in my 7.3, 4000 miles and the oil looks clean, like I just came out of the bottle, but this upgrade ford filter for a 6.0 is a good upgrade as well.

6.0 filter upgrade
Glad I found this upgrade option to help support the 'ol 6.0. Genuine Ford part at a decent price.

TRANSMISSION FILTER 5R110 03-10 6.0L 6.4L
Upgraded from earlier version with the 6.4 pan. Very easy change out. Be careful when removing the old filter. I dropped the pan and poured out the residual fluid. But got a surprize when I pulled out the old filter -- it released another surge of tranny fluid that I was not expecting. So a little more clean up, but overall the change out was easy and worth the small price fro these parts from RifRaff.
