Stainless Steel HPX - Ford 7.3L Powerstroke (94-97)
The Stainless Steel High Pressure Crossover is meant to allow excess oil pressure to flow between both heads allowing for better supply to the injectors. By allowing the oil to flow to the opposite head, the issue of pressure spikes are less and allow for a smoother idle. We manufacture our own SS HPX lines right here in the USA unlike many companies today that outsource their product lines.

Works great as advertised
Just put this on my 94.5 7.3. Idle was a lil smoother, althou it never has been real rough. Also seemed to have a little more "pep" in the throttle too,and seemed to be a little quieter @ highway speed. Fitment was good, a lil tweak to get it to line up just right with the passenger side, otherwise easy install.

Can't beat this upgrade
Clay is the man!! I love riff raff you have one of the beSt diesel sites on the net hands down with top notch customer service. I ordered the hpx had a really rough idle for some reason (I have 3 7.3l and this truck I ordered it for is the roughest by far at idle it's straight ugly) install was pretty easy had to use a pry bar to help align the bar behind the "y" pipe, startup was instant, idle was significantly more quiet was actually amazed how much it smoothed the engine out. I struggled with the orings on the fittings I over tightened them. Had my 70 year old father call in, Clay answered immediately and helped him through everything and even sent out new oringz personally. So thanks for taking care of my pops and not up selling him. Truly can't speak highly enough of clay of riff raff or his products upstanding man and business.

High quality with expected results.
so I ordered this item to even out the idle and make my motor run quieter. I have heard it will help people with a weaker HPOP and not help people with a good HPOP. I fortunately have a strong HPOP and for $50 I figured I would see if it still helped. The crossover fit perfectly. I did NOT notice a quieter at idle or help with starting easier (already started amazingly well). However, I DID notice quieter highway RPMs. I am using edge insight to monitor the ICP and the HPX for sure keeps the spikes and dips in control and smooths the pressure out. Before the pressure would vary by 100-150 psi and now it only varies about 15-20 psi. I would buy it again.

Good easy upgrade
Much better quality over any flex line. After some slight adjustment it worked out well. Starts much quicker and idle has smoothed out noticeably.

best thing since sliced bread
I will say the rr hpx crossover is a quality piece install was pretty straight forward
after install I noticed a very much improved idle smoother and it also seems to be a little quieter
definitely money well spent and there customer service is second to none -
Must Have
My truck runs a lot smoother and quieter. The install was quick and easy once you figure out you might have to bend one end of the tubing about 1/32nd-1/16th. I chose to bend the passenger side. It was easier.

A must for any PSD
I ended up buying the one recommended for the OBS truck for my 97 PSD even though the entire turbo setup is from a late 99-03. I asked if I should use the piece for the superduty trucks but it was suggested to use the OBS HPX hose. The only issue I had was that it hit the turbo compressor housing which meant I had to slightly bend it to fit. Other that that it's been on the truck for a few weeks now with no issues and it's working great. This replaced my old x-hose that was leaking.
