O/D cable had worn and was giving me the dash freakouts. Plus it was a bit loose.
Took 20 minutes to replace and couldnt be happier. -

Fit perfectly in my 99 and my 2000 7.3 if your overdrive wire is not working 2 out of 2 times this was the fix for me.
