It is literally the best filter on the market in terms of microns. I have read that people were experiencing flow problems with the Air Restriction Gauge. I found that if you trim out the snorkel a little bit then the flow is not an issue. I am using this on a 7.3 with a full banks kit, even a Power elbow, and It never pulls the ARG after a little snorkel trimming. But why bother with this unit then? because the filter is the best on the market and nobody wants dust in the turbo.

Took 30 mins to install and fit great. It's an expensive kit but well made. A replacement filter costs a lot however it should provide clean air where I live for 30k miles. Thanks Riff Raff

Super easy to install. Clearly far superior to the stock setup. Make sure the rubber flap by the grill does not cover the end of the snorkel when you’re installing it.

It was time for a new air filter and I do not plan on selling my 2002 Excursion 7.3 . . . EVER! So I bit the bullet and bought the AIS. It was the easiest install that I have ever done with anything. My only complaint was reusing the stock hardware. I had a rusty bolt that the battery sat on. For the price of the kit they could through in new bolts in my opinion. But, I'm happy with my purchase.

Was running the 6637 set up with blue donaldson filter. It is very dusty where I live. I wanted better protection from dust and water. I went with the AIS and am extremely pleased. Great fit also. Performance of truck is great! A bit quieter , not much. No issues at all

Unit is performing as expected, much better air filtration and volume making it where it needs to go. Install instructions are subpar, but this install is pretty much self-explanatory.

This is a nice kit and well made. I didn’t think it let my truck breathe as well as the Donaldson open filter kit so I went back to that but still a nice kit. Might run it during the winter.

Comes with a filter and all needed hardware. Replaced the stock airbox and wasn't disappointed. I definitely noticed a difference in driveability after installing this. The truck had better throttle response and spool time. Nice OEM look and easy install as well. I can't confirm but I expect I will see improved fuel economy. No noticeable difference in sound compared to the stock airbox. Completely satisfied.

I'm big on keeping my vehicles OEM, yet want better performance, so this filter kit did both. Not only was it a quick and perfect fit replacement, but it also allowed the second battery to be easily accessible like the passenger side one. This was for my 2002 7.3 Excursion and will be buying one for my 2001 F350 as well.
