Riffraff Diesel 1996-2000 7.3L HPOP Billet Mini Reservoir Spacer

If your Powerstroke is a 1996-2000 7.3L you aren't getting the benefit of a Low Pressure Oil mesh screen like the 2001-2003 models. We now offer a Patent Pending billet spacer that will allow you to run a screen HPOP Reservoir gasket in your vehicle without the worry of cracking your front cover like stock. By installing our new Mini Spacer your LPO will run through the mesh screen before entering your HPOP. Also we offer a Mini Spacer Fuel Bowl Drop Bracket to support your stock fuel bowl which is required to keep your stock fuel bowl in the stock location.

Included:
- Billet 6061-T6 HPOP Reservoir Spacer
- Upper and Lower Motorcraft O-rings
- Custom-Coated Longer Mounting Bolts
- 100% Made In The USA with USA Materials

Fits 1996-2003 7.3L Powerstroke - Will Not fit 1994-1995

*Note: Make sure 1996-Early 1999 screen gasket goes on spacer not front cover. For 1996-1997 EBP Sensor Bracket we recommend upgrading to the 99-03 style.

*Note: Anodized Color on Aluminum can be discolored / damaged by chemical engine cleaners. Use only soap and water to clean.

    Excellent Idea

This is how Ford should have made all the 7.3L trucks, not just the 2001-2003. Filtering through the screen is important and I am so glad that this such a cost effective option rather than doing your whole front cover swap.

Great idea, and straight forward to install. I also purchased the fuel bowl drop bracket that is suggested at the bottom of the page as well as the orings. Had everything needed.

    20 Min Install

Quick install, and this is how it should have been from factory. You can tell because Ford did it on all the 2000+ trucks. Must have if you have an earlier model to bring it up to standard.

    Easy Install

Besides having pump out the oil this is a 10 minute install job. Excellent idea and I love the extra filtration on my Early 1999.

    It’s good

The product itself is great it is a pain to install. I wish the mounting hardware came with two studded bolts so I could mount my fancy vanity cover on top. Also THIS PRODUCT NEEDS TO BE ORDERED WITH A FUEL BOLW DROP BRACKET IF YOU’RE RETAINING THE FACTORY FUEL BOWL! I didn’t try to install the spacer without the bracket I’m sure it can be done but I imagine either way it’s still a pain to fit up.

    Fit up

This will require modifications to mount the fuel bowl which they sell a separate mount, but nothing tells you that it’s needed.

    Added Filtration

This is a great idea and I wish I would have had it years ago on my 1999. Now I have the filtration of the later years and at a fraction of the cost of changing my front cover. Awesome work Riffraff diesel!

    Brilliant Idea

These go on every one of my engine builds now that don't have a screen, basically 2000 and before. Innovative and very cost effective way to filter the HPOP oil.

This is a great idea, and just what my Early 1999 7.3 needs. Now all of my oil goes through the screened gasket just like factory on the later models.
