Easy to install and has everything you need. Another quality product from Riffraff! One improvement would be to have the side of the hose that runs to the water pump be able to swivel to make installation easier.

Kit comes complete with everything you need, down to the thread sealant. Craftsmanship of the parts is stellar. Only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is A) then recommend replacing the coolant filter frequently for the first 6 month. So would have been nice to include a couple extra filters in the kit so you don’t forget to purchase separately or have to keep going back to purchase. B) which the mounting on the filter adapter had some adjustability, as I had some issues with clearance on the OEM Battery box. Other then that, this kit is great and priced right

I put this on my 7.3 Excursion while I was doing oil cooler O-rings. Figured since I had the system open, was a good time. Installation went smooth. I had an issue where the filter was way too close to the factory battery box. Only needed about another 1/2" of clearance. Found out it was hit in the front at one point. Things probably weren't 100% where the should be. I had to cut a slot in the battery box for filter to fit. Not riff raffs Fault. All good and works great. Great customer service as well!!

This is a really good quality filter base. The only problem is that I have a Volant cold air intake which must have a larger than stock frontal intake. I had to modify bracket to keep filter from hitting intake. Cat makes a shorter filter that helps, but still have to modify to install filter.

I've installed numerous coolant filters over the years on many different trucks using an other style head but came across these on line and have to say the quality and workmanship is excellent specifically for this 2002 Super Duty application!

Clay has really outdone himself here great product through and through. I've installed cheap knock offs that always leak, crappy sinister kits that leak by far this is the best. You get much more than you pay for. The lines are made of super strong continental brand rubber. No need to worry about the lines losing its shape when it gets hot like other brands. Word of warning me being the normal guy I didn't look at the directions when I installed it. The hoses do not have a fitting that allows you to spin the fitting on the opposite side once installed so just beware. Honestly the swivel fittings always end up leaking so I like this one alot better. No leaks no issues with this kit it's a must have for any 7.3 owner. Clay you really outdid yourself here
