Riffraff Diesel 321 Stainless Bellowed Up-pipe Kit for Ford 7.3L 94-Early 99

These bellowed up-pipes are for the 94-Early 99 Powerstroke 7.3L and have been designed to replace the "donut" gasket that is prone to leakage and give you a more cost effective choice over International.

Our bellowed up-pipes are not only less expensive than International they are also much higher quality both in material and fitment.  Made from aircraft grade 321 Stainless Steel rather than 409 or even 304 allows for a lifetime product that won't rust or crack, ever.  Because 321SS handles significantly higher temperatures and have better tensile strength these can also be used in much higher horsepower and towing applications than the International brand. 321 Stainless Steel is immune to extreme temperatures, stabilized by Titanium, resists intergranular corrosion, and is high strength. Used for aircraft afterburners, exhaust manifolds, cabin heaters, flash boilers, firewalls, and stack liners. Not only is our tubing 321 but so are the custom thick wall bellows and upper collar. 

Bellowed Up-pipes are what you need to cure those leaking stock up-pipes. It isn't a matter of IF but WHEN your factory style up-pipes will start to leak, and when they do this is your permanent answer. Because they used a bellow rather than a donut gasket these kits won't leak and will ensure you are utilizing all your boost to spool the turbo. When your factory up-pipes leak you will start to see a loss of power, mileage and a gain in EGT's. This kits come complete as pictured with everything you need to swap the leaking factory up-pipes for the new bellowed style, including hardware nuts and bolts.

*Ceramic Coating Details -
The Turbo Black ceramic was formulated for exhaust temps up to 2000*F and will hold in at least 60% of the heat from radiating out under your hood. Not all black coatings will achieve that function. These coatings have been specifically formulated for use on military aircraft.

By retaining the heat energy your turbo will spool up faster and more efficiently. We double coat the outside of the housing to protect it from rusting and it results in a much longer attractive finish while retaining heat. The two main functions of the coating is appearance and longevity of your engine parts and gaining a more efficient running engine.

    No more exhaust leaks

    I replaced up pipe gaskets which began to leak immediately. Installation was straight forward, clearances were tight passing the flanges between the firewall and engine.. Putting a pipe in the up pipe from below near the exhaust manifold to leverage them in place was enough to make it work. Hopefully I never have to deal with exhaust leaking into the cab again. Impressed with the manufacturing quality

    I can’t say enough about the quality of the pipes and associated hardware. My complaint is with the installation/instructions. The instructions say to fit the pipes up through the bottom….but I don’t see how that would ever work with the collar (the part that mates to the collector) welded on. I had to remove my transmission to get them to clear. 10/10 do not recommend installing these unless you’ve got the engine out or plan to remove it.

    Item arrived within a reasonable amount of time and as described with all hardware needed and ceramic coated. Install went smooth (engine was pulled out for an oil pan replacement at the time) and instructions were spot on.

    well built pipes, Passenger side fitted very well. Drivers side was a bit of a bear. Required massaging the firewall seam, unbolting the transcase from the mount and loosening engine mounts to move assy to allow the flange to slide down to the manifold. Flanges are slightly larger than stock ones. All in now and no complaints

    Overall, very happy with the up-pipes. Material choice is great, weld quality looks pretty good, fitment was spot on, hardware was mostly good. Only critical feedback is that I had trouble with one of the 12 point bolts on connecting the up-pipe to the collector going into the turbine. My socket was interfering with the bellows enough to prevent full engagement, sending my "don't strip the bolt head" stress levels soaring but it all worked out. Your combination of tools might be more effective than mine - two thumbs up to buy again.

    Very good quality on this kit but what a pain in the ass to install with transmission installed! Drivers side donut crumbled when stock pipe was removed so nipped that in the bud!
