    Just what the doctor ordered

After multiple failed attempts and leaks with new parts house thermostat and housing I decided to spend the money and get the billet housing. With coolant being nearly $20/gal I should have done this mod first! No leaks what so ever...very nice piece. I would recommend the oem motorcraft thermostat as well with the built in gasket. All in all very pleased. My only gripe is the hex head bolts but that's neither here nor there. I was told it was a 3/16 hex, but I found a 5mm to fit more snugly.

    Built Riffraff Tough

Against every warning, I went cheap and bought a T-Stat housing from one of the common automotive box shops. 2 failed attempts to get a good seal with RTV later, I finally did what I should have done in the first place. This thing epitomizes the strength and reliability of the engine that it was designed for. Save yourself the extra time and wasted money.

    Added Improvement

My stock steel housing was rusting and I wondered when then leaks would start. Very nice improvement over stock. It's a shame it's not very viseable. Very well built.

    Nice housing, quick shipping

Product was of good quality and finish. Fit well. Wish standard bolts were used in lieu of hex heads to make it easier to tighten and torque.

    Great service

I purchased my first one for my wife's truck. After it came and I say the quality I ordered a another one for my Ford Excursion. If you use a stock OEM Thermostat you do not need any other O-ring's or gaskets. The OEM Thermostat has the rubber O-ring built into it. Great product. No leaks.

    Excellent Quality

After purchasing and installing this piece I really cannot grasp why anyone would purchase or reuse the low quality stamped steel version. This billet housing is far more superior quality, bolts right up, and looks great.
