Other than removing stock airbox ( i had a stripped bolt that slowed me down) install is a breeze just hose clamps. Unfortunately I did several mods/maintenance things at once so I cant say how the performance changed from just this filter. I do think my turbo sounds better and I'm sure the increased airflow is a major part of the performance increase I did get. I also changed my fuel filter , did oil xover tube, ebp tube and sensor, changed oil, transmission fluids, both differentials, transfer case fluid, and the filter screens in the tank. I got some power back in the ol girl ( my new to me/old 1999 f350 I just bought). I'm very happy with choosing this product over a cold air intake. All The riffraff parts ive bought dropped in just like they should!!! Waiting on more funds to get the fuel crossover , banjo bolts, and new fuel lines with cvd fittings. And I'm thinking of replacing all the intercooler boots with riffraff parts as well since I have no idea when maintenance was done on this truck I'm trying to replace all the decayable parts as soon as funds allow.

Filter kit is what advertised. My 7.3 with a small programmer really likes the extra air. Not sure it likes the high temps at low speed or idle but it’s my opinion that temp drops at speed.
You can light a check engine light at will as the turbo boost will hang out at 25/27 with wide open throttle. I didn’t buy it for a hotrod but a pulling truck, filter kit helps with that. Appears to help with performance pulling my fifthwheel.

Good improvement over stock box with K&N ….
Would be a 5 star if it were washable/reusable , such as the AFE big boost but definitely a good product

I wanted an affordable kit that kept the stock PCV equipment. This is it, and looks good too. My old 7.3 is breathing great without the restrictive stock airbox, Easy install too.

Air filter kit arrived fast and in great condition. Huge increase in airflow compared to the stock filter i had. I highly recommend this product.
