RDP Plenum Reinforcing Inserts™ - Ford 7.3L 99.5-03
These billet 7075 Aluminum plenum inserts are a Riffraff Diesel original design and are patent pending. They are made to allow you to clamp down as hard as needed with T-bolt clamps so that you don't have any boost leaks. Fix your bent and crushed stock plenums with our Inserts as well. This is a budget friendly option to buying full billet plenums. Easy install, no special tools needed.
These were designed so as to add the least restriction possible while providing more than adequate structure for clamping. The Plenum Inserts have been machined to within .164" of the OEM diameter so there will not be any measurable affect on EGT's or cfm flow.

Reinforcement inserts
Made of quality. Went in easy and does what they say they do. Too bad I won’t be using them long. After putting everything back together and boost leak testing found my plenums to be leaking so I am going to replace them with the riffraff plenums and probably put the inserts in my dads plenums since his are leaking from getting crushed by the clamps.

Not Optional
These are really a required upgrade if you have stock plenums. Mine were bent and leaking, I thought I would have to replace the whole thing. The plenum inserts saved my from a messing and costly replacement.

Intake plenum inserts
Very nice built well. The lip keeps you from knocking them in too far. I sprayed mine with carb cleaner knocked them in with a rubber mallet and that made me trust tightening the new boost clamps onto the stock flimsy intake plenums

Plenum Inserts
Great product!
My EOM plenum openings where tapering shut a bit, so I had to tap these in. Knew they needed to be installed with the new T-bolt style boot clamps. If you're getting in this far you'd be silly not to install a set of these inserts. -
