Makes it easy to install your pyro probe.

Get a decent tap for this task, this one was worthless. The teeth broke and made a mess of the hole. I ended up having to drill a larger hole, use a better tap, and a bushing to make it work.

No trip to the hardware store! High Quality!

Just what I needed to install my 1/8" NPT pyro probe. I drilled a pilot hole and then used this drill bit with a magnet to keep chips out of the manifold. I then ran the tap in roughly 2/3rd of the threaded length. This gave great engagement of threads without going so far into the manifold with the probe base to create turbulence.

Well worth the money. This set also works to tap your y pipe to put your boost gauge sensor in , so you get more than one use out of it.

Flawless victory. Old rusty manifold, which probably should be replaced, but this kit did what I needed.it to do. As instructed, I threaded a little and checked often and got a good taper seat without bottoming the pyrometer probe fitting. I don't regret this purchase.
