Oil Level Gauge Adapter Repair Kit - Ford 7.3L (94-03) - GZ-8-011
A full repair kit for the adapter that is located on the passenger's side of the oil pan where the dip stick tube is connected to the oil pan. This kit will fit all 7.3L Ford diesels from 1994 to 2003 and the engine oil pan does not have to be removed.
Parts and tools included with the kit are
1. Loctite 515 Flange sealant
2. Galley Brush
3. Oil level gauge adapter gasket
4. Viton Oil level gauge adapter O-ring
5. Viton Oil level tube O-ring
6. Oil level flange nut
*If oil pan is warped or wrinkled a reseal kit may not work and a new pan is required.

No more oil leak
Oil pan leak repair kit fixed my oil leak. Received the kit quickly. Easy to follow complete instructions. Only took about an hour to install. No more leak. Great product.

The Product Works
The product worked for me. It was not too difficult, but it was not easy either. You should have a 2 inch box/open end wrench to do the job as the flange nut is a bitch to get started and tighten.

Excellent instructions to follow. Worked as it should and fixed that pesky leak I have been dealing with for awhile!

Very easy and complete kit
The kit comes complete and very easy for any level mechanic to achieve the end goal. After cleaning the area of any oil, it might have taken me about 35 minutes to complete the task. I viewed a couple of good you tube videos first, since I never did this before. Worth the money for the complete kit. I have not seen any oil leaks since. I plowed a few snow storms and still no leaks. I am very happy for that.

Definitely worth the buy
Put this kit on my 95 7.3 powerstroke and worked out great. Deffinetly use caution when u back the big nut off from the outside of the pan, the inner threaded part can fall down in easily even with the little wire brush pushed down in the dipstick hole. Putting the new o-ring on the fitting on the inside of the pan is tricky but deff do-able But take ur time and try to keep everything as clean as possible. Over 25,000 miles and no issues at all.

some of information was informative, but incomplete
the parts with exception of paper washer are readily available at ford, but pay for convenience. The install information missed the most important step, but was reassuring on using form a gasket and to make sure you don't cross thread. In the end used my old nut without the gasket, couldn't get it to start the thread with it on. Now what they missed the pan "o" ring has to be set in the grove on the interior side of pan, how do you get it to stay in grove while tightening outside nut, I used form a gasket. will see how it worked, but know from experience if it isn't in the grove will start to leak by 1000 m
