Check adapter before ordering
I should have checked the adapter before ordering, The truck was a DOT truck the adapter was to corroded when I installed this kit I could not get it tight without stripping threads. Purchased the Moroso gasket kit to install a new adapter.

Didn't work for me
Took my time and followed instructions. Cleaned everything real well and let it set for 24hrs. Took it around the block and noticed a little residue coming through. 72hrs later took it on a 5 mile drive and now have a drip line going to the bottom of the pan from the dip stick. Looks like i'm about to spend $300 for the billet adapter.
Brush works like it should, just be patient and keep the process clean. -
oil level gauge - repair kit
Product worked as intended. Some 'pucker factor' involved. Take your time to prevent cross threading with the new nut. You only get one chance. Definitely tie string to the brush. I was being extremely cautious and still had to rely on the string to keep it from slipping into the oil pan.

A great way to fix a common issue
This is a great way to fix the all-too-common dipstick adapter leak on the 7.3. I chose to use Ford TA-31 (gray sealant) instead of the Loctite 515 (as recommended by the instructions). So far, the repair is clean and dry! It's a great alternative to the "gold nugget" adapter fix sold elsewhere for about 1/6th the cost.

It’s works
I’m on the never ending battle of fixing leaks on my 7.3, One day K noticed the oil pan lever adapter was leaking, found a repair kit from Strictly Diesel but didn’t want to spend $300, called Clay got this instead. First off let me tell it’s not for the faint of hearts, or easily defeated as it’s a pain in the ass. Pull starter clean everything really well eat a snack, follow instructions, be prepared to cry putting the o-ring back, I used Yanabond instead of Ford silicone, tighten it all back up, and leave it for 24 hours, and hopefully it works otherwise Strictly will get your $300

It fits the bill
Worked great for me no more oil leak. Used permatex right stuff under and over outside gasket and all around big nut when finished. Tough to get brush out glad I didn't push it all the way in. Used old nut new one did not catch well. Thanks. Mike S

Works good
Definitely works to fix the oil leak at the dipstick adapter. I went ahead and sealed the gasket and nut flange with a different type of silcone which is equivalent to something close to the international pan sealer and it has sealed a d worked great! A little expensive for the parts but it gets the job done

Exactly what you need to fix that pan leak.
Easy to install. A little nervous at first in fear of dropping it into the oil pan. This kit worked perfect as stated. Sealed up my oil leak. I used grey silicone to seal on outside of pan instead of supplied gasket. If your pan leaks, get this kit
