Replacement oil seal o-ring for the oil fill tube. Replace the swollen and oil saturated Buna-N o-ring with a genuine Viton seal.
 
Simply unscrew the oil fill riser from the valve cover, remove and replace the o-ring.
 

Order of 1 is 1 o-ring.

    There was oil all around the oil fill neck riser. I attribute it to this o-ring, and after removing the riser and replacing the o-ring and cleaning things properly --- no oil residue has returned.
