This is the second time in 17 years I have replaced the seals in my oil cooler. I did it because I was replacing my injector cups and had to drain the system anyhow. Glad I did, green orange were cracked! Thanks for the fast shipping as always Clay!

TOTALLY RECCOMEND THIS KIT, TRUE FORD PARTS AS ALLWAYS FROM RIFFS.
NOT A HARD TASK IF YOU DROP ALL YOUR OIL AND COOLANT. YANK THE COOLANT PLG FROM BACK OF BLOCK ON COOLER SIDE. YOULL GET NO REAL MESS AND A GARUNTEE THE PARTS WILL PROVIDE A LONG REPAIR INTERVAL BECAUSE THEY ARE FORD PARTS

    Get the good ones

    Posted by K D Rabbit on Apr 12th 2020

Many people tell you to get this or get that when you work on a project. This is one where you need to use Ford Navistar gaskets exclusively as I learn the hard way some years ago. You will find gasket sets ranging from eight dollars to $80. As I said for this project staked with the factory ones and he will not be in there in a few months redoing it as well as having to purchase 15 quarts of fresh oil and gallons and gallons of antifreeze

    Good Kit

Posted by Jesse on Feb 12th 2020

In the instructions it says not to tighten the front oil cooler receiver to the engine block until you push in the oil cooler from the rear. My suggestion is that you do snug it up to the engine block, but don't torque it until the oil cooler is in. Otherwise it moves around to much to get the gaskets to seat correctly.

    Oil cooler kit

Posted by Alex Payne on Jul 14th 2019

This oil cooler seal kit includes oem ford parts and fit perfectly on my 2000 model 7.3 powerstroke. My truck had a bad leak but after installing this kit there isn’t a drop of oil or coolant leaking anywhere. Will definitely order from Riffraff again!
