Exact fuel filter I needed with no hassels
Using Riffraff has been with ease and no stress like you can get with other companies. When I'm in doubt, I send an email and receive the correct info. I need. The parts Iv'e needed to date are OEM but at lower prices. Great that my sons pointed me in Riffraff's direction for items I need on my 99 F-350 Super Duty Diesel.

Why spend more more for a Ford Motorcraft when this is a direct replacement for less money
Since finding Riffraff at mt son's suggestion, I find there are better quality parts that they carry at a far less price that Ford and others, such as my fuel filter which I'l be ordering another tonight. It's a direct OEM replacement.
Thank you -

7.3 OEM fuel filter replacement
This filter is the exact stock replacement for a 7.3 powerstroke. It's the best filter for my 7.3 . It comes with both gaskets ,lid and filter . I change it every 6-8000 miles. 283k on my truck. That's a lot of filters !! Basically every other oil change. Last 3 filters changes I had to replace it with a Wix filter that has the lid attached to it. The reason for the change was nobody carries it anymore. That filter although good it leaves a residue in and around the inside of the filter housing. I was so glad to see RiffRaff carries this OEM filter. Thanks !!!

Looks exactly like the Motorcraft FD4596 fuel filter, also recommend: OTC 6760 Fuel Filter Wrench
This filter came in plain packaging and not in a Motorcraft package, but I already had a Motorcraft FD4596, and sitting side-by-side, the filters look exactly the same. Obviously, this visual inspection is not a filter rating test, but I trust that this is an OEM filter without the Motorcraft packaging. I will install this one from Riff Raff on my next fuel filter change.
If you need a tool to remove and install the fuel filter cap, I highly recommend the OTC 6760 Fuel Filter Wrench (purchased from Amazon). One side fits the 7.3L cap and the other side fits the 6.0L cap. It makes easy work of the cap removal and installation.
