OCR - Overboost Code Regulator™ for Ford 7.3L 99-03

The purpose of the OCR™ is to regulate the presence of an "overboost code" that sets the Service Engine Soon light and stop the PCM from defueling at 23 psi of boost.  We are the first to utilize a pre-set custom regulator that will allow your MAP Sensor to see up to 22psi before holding it there.  With the use of a pre-set regulator it doesn't allow there to be human error when setting it or to accidently be adjusted out of the correct setting.  By using this highly accurate regulator your performance will not be hampered or degraded.  You can perform this same mod your self with a compressor regulator from a hardware store, but from experience we have learned that these models can be extemely inaccurate at low psi levels.  Because of the inaccuracy and inability to hold the pressure at the same psi you end up adjusting it down there by losing performance. Our OCR™ was made to prevent overboost, but it doesn't enhance performance, it allows the computer to perform past what would normally be an overboost condition. If you aren't building over 23+ and experiencing defueling then this product isn't what you are looking for.

To make this a true bolt on product, and not just a cheaper bent hanger, we include a laser cut, black anodized custom bracket that moves your MAP sensor and allows for a clean looking install.

Fitment: 99-03 F250-F550 7.3L ; 2000-2003 Excursion 7.3L

It's so nice to buy on-line and know you are getting high quality products and the Over Boost Regulator is no exception. Riffraff is my go to for PSD parts!

Very easy to install and works great, may have to shorten hoses a little bit. Only thing is now I cant watch my boost on my edge cts2 because its reading off ecm but knew that would happen before I installed it.

    Don’t be scammed

I thought it was a good idea to save a few bucks and order what I thought was the OCR on EBay.... long store short the product looks the same but was crap and from China and stopped working after a couple weeks. They wouldn't refund my money because it was a couple days past the return date.... I ordered the real part from Riffraff Diesel and it worked perfectly without issues. I read posts like this and think it’s the company hyping their product but I have nothing to do with Riffraff, I am a fire fighter and want people to know why not to waste your money and get the real deal from the source.

Looks great and eliminated the overboost code and check engine light. My boost peaks around 28-31psi without the engine trying to defuel itself. I recommend this product for Ford 7.3 Power Stroke owners.

    BEWARE!

Posted by Seth C on Jul 5th 2020

Dont get duped like me. I bought an "OCR" on another website for way less than this. Just thought it was on sale or something. Found out the hardware it was a Chinese piece of junk and not made by Riffraff. It looks very similar but everything about it was cheap. Installed it and lost boost. Tested it and all it was letting my MAP sensor see was 13psi, sometimes, other times it was less. Pulled it and put back to stock worked great. Got an ACTUAL Riffraff Diesel OCR and boom, works perfect. 22psi and no SES, all the performance. BEWARE and dont get duped like I did with a no name knockoff, just because it looks the same. IF it doesnt say Riffraff Diesel then it is garbage.
