The stock 7.3L Powerstrock transmission cooler can come up short of providing sufficient cooling, and with more weight in the truck bed, transmission temperatures tend to rise. Avoid those high temperatures and complement your cooling system with the latest addition to Mishimoto’s 7.3L Powerstroke performance parts, the all-new 7.3L transmission cooler. 

With the Mishimoto 7.3L Transmission Cooler, high transmission fluid temperatures will be the least of your worries. The 37-row Mishimoto stacked plate cooler provides a larger surface area over both of the stock coolers. Core volume is increased by a whopping 265%, and fluid capacity is increased by 1.0 qt. The increased size of this 7.3L transmission cooler provides a proven 10+°F drop in transmission fluid temperature. 

No modifications are necessary for installation, and, just like all Mishimoto 7.3L Powerstroke parts, this cooler comes with the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

    Bang for buck

    Best damn addition! I installed an after market bumper with a 12k lb winch and it blocked off my stock cooler and I was at 180 no load then installed this wounded cooler in about 2hrs and BAM towing up in Colorado up to 10k feet in elevation with 12klbs temp never went above 160!!!! Best bang for your buck!

    I installed the cooler with the truck on the ground. I was able to do this and the cooler mounted easy. I did not cut any of the hose so I looped it up under the cooler where I connected it to the truck. Have not got to use it yet but about to take a long trip with it pulling a trailer.

    Well I did some major work on my f-250, 7.3 , so I had the radiator out as well as my intercooler, so I decided to install the Mishimoto cooler in , it was so easy to install without the radiator and intercooler in the way, and the extra protection for my transmission, I just couldn't pass it up.

    Was an easy install and worked great. 5K mile road trip with 8K trailer and no issues.

    Put this on my 01 f350. Before with no trailer my trans temp was 180 even when it was 40 outside. Now pulling a 7k trailer uphills and 90 outside my temp doesn’t climb above 165. Thank you Riff Raff again for only having the best parts available

    I have been very impressed with the quality of this trans cooler since the minute I unboxed it. It is build very well and fit perfectly the way it should with no modifications to my truck or the cooler. I installed this because I would have to pull over 2 or 3 times each time I pulled my travel trailer over the Santiam pass in Oregon in order to let my trans cool down as it would get to 220 degrees or higher. I waited to write this review until after I towed the pass again and am very happy to say that the highest temp my trans saw was 184 and I never had to pull over once! Definitely worth every penny.

    It is huge. Fits nicely. I would have liked a pre-bent tube for the supply side but it seems to work fine.

    Fast shipping and great product. Ordered on a Sunday and order was at my door Thursday. Trans cooler is a 3x upgrade from the tiny stock on.
