Mishimoto 6.0L Aluminum Intercooler
Mishimoto has released a performance intercooler for the 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke. A high-powered 6.0L engine needs an intercooler that can effectively reduce intake temperatures and withstand high pressures. The Mishimoto 6.0L Powerstroke intercooler is manufactured with heavy-duty cast aluminum end tanks and a stout bar-and-plate core, designed to decrease intake temperatures, improve airflow, and reduce pressure drop. By decreasing pressure drop this intercooler will extend the life of your turbocharger and improve the efficiency of your Powerstroke. The Mishimoto Powerstroke intercooler features a core with greater volume than the factory cooler; this results in numerous performance benefits including increased pressure tolerance and lower EGTs. Product Quality
The first unit I received had a manufacturing defect. One of the upper brackets was built entirely wrong. It was both twisted and offset. The 2nd unit I received as a warranty replacement was fine. The overall quality of the part looks to be very good on the 2nd unit.
I give Mishimoto a good rating on service, however, they need to work on their manufacturing inspection process. They should not have missed this, it was obvious nobody, having any experience with the product, had inspected it. -

I have a turned up 97 Cummins in my Ford with temperature gauges before and after the intercooler. I can watch the hot air from the turbo going up and down in temperature with the engine load. But the air temperature in the intake manifold does not move. That indicates excellent cooling capacity.

Works great with my 01 F-250 7.3!!
Replaced my old CAC with this mishimoto 6.0 unit and dropped my egts 200 degrees!! If you read forums some say don’t spend the money but I disagree. It definitely was a worth while investment to keep that big 7.3 cool and running great! Just buy the driver side 3x3 boot and you’re all set. Easy install, buy with confidence!

Great quality upgrade for my worn out 7.3 intercooler. Easy install. Just make sure you get the 3" to 3" straight boot on the driver side when you order for your 7.3.

Good upgrade for your 6.0
Blew stock cooler was told this was the best replacement. Intercooler is built very well and fit right in where stock OEM intercooler was. Just make sure to buy the cold side pipe from RiffRaff! I didn't know and fought the stock one for an hour before I called Clay.

I have blown to stock intercooler in a 6.0 the Mishimoto intercooler is made very well, time
will tell after I pull my 30FT TOY Hauler on are next trip spring break thank for great price. -
intercooler upgrade
Blew the tanks on factory CAC, Mishimoto installed easily, appears to be top quality works well. I have lowered EGT about 10 degrees in normal driving haven't towed with it yet, also ruduced the little turbo lag I had, appears to be great product

Quality workmanship
This intercooler is massive and made very well. I would recommend this product. Nice clean fit. Not busting this one open with high boost thats for sure.
