Having the oil pan off to be replaced, I thought it a good idea to check all the rod and main bearing. At 250,000+ miles the wear was minimal, measuring maybe .0005". I felt confident I could put the old bearings back in; however, if it's out, let's change them. These bearings are what the factory put in, available from Riffraff, they are Clevite and measured out properly as stock size when arrived.

I soaked all bearings in oil prior to install. Make sure you put the oil-hole bearing on the block side, not the cap site or you'll starve the bearing for oil. It's a simple mistake to make if you're not paying attention.

Ordered these on a Saturday and had them by the following Tuesday. Very good quality bearings. Highly recommended.
