Description:
This is a journal bearing turbo with a Borg Warner 300sxe Style turbine wheel, modified to fit inside a drop in ready Super Duty turbo.
This turbo will surprise you at how well it runs! We have torture tested it for longevity, proven its capability on the dyno and at the Race Track.

Kc300X stage 1 turbo
Replaced worn out turbo nicely. The supplied intake boot had a little too much offset. Small modification fixed it. No other issues

KC Turbo
Should have done this a long time ago! Much more power and significantly lower EGT's!! And no more annoying turbo surge!!

KC 63/68 turbo
Quality is very good, I’m running stock injectors and it seemed to make better power, EGT’s are definitely much lower than the stock turbo with a billet wheel and canned PHP tunes on my hydra. Haven’t hooked the travel trailer up yet but I’m hopeful this old excursion will tow with less EGT’s.

KC300X Stage 1 Drop-in Turbo
Install was truly an easy drop-in. No issues except the intake hose is VERY stubborn and fits poorly. There is absolutely no lag or surge with this turbo. It's quiet and a big improvement over my OEM GTP38 with a billet wheel. Not sure how it compares to the KC Balanced turbine/compressor upgrade for the stock turbo but I'm guessing for the price, the better housings, outlet, and wastegate controller are worth the extra bucks. If you are always towing or running heavy, discuss AR and reducing drive pressures with Clay or KC before choosing what stage and housings are right for your use.
