kc turbo
turbo works great with my 180/30 injectors pulls my snowmobile trailer up hills with no downshift and egt's never go over 1150F and it a lot quieter than my 38r. I would highly recommend this turbo to anyone looking for more power.

So far so good, I have a ZF6 and went with the .84 a/r. I love it, spools quick and sounds great. Definitely has way more top end power and I'm still on the stock injectors. Plan on upgrading them soon in order to really benefit from this turbo.

Great Turbo!!
Installed this turbo on my 2000 Excursion that's pretty much stock. It has a PHP Hydra with the standard PHP tunes. It also has a 6637 style intake. I haven't had the chance to do any towing with it yet, but normal around town and highway driving are night and day compared to my 235,000 mile stocker. This thing spools very quickly. Haven't had a chance to really run it hard yet, but like I said, the difference is noticeable in regular daily/highway driving.
The sound- It's louder than stock but not obnoxious like the 38r can be. It's noticeable at highway speeds, but if you have the radio on, you may not even notice it. My wife and I were on the highway for a half hour and she never even mentioned the noise. That'll probably change when I install my exhaust...
If I had to pick one (minor) thing to complain about with this turbo, it's the intake boot. I had the stock CCV setup and this did not work with the plastic coupler mounted on its bracket. I couldn't use the stock elbow into the CCV intake port, but I was able to make do with a longer piece of hose. Not really a big deal, but I'll have to rethink my intake.
