The turbo is great but the large housing o-ring that KC supplies is about half the size of the version from Garrett. I installed the turbo with the KC o-ring and after a leak test, found that the o-ring was too thin to seal up the housing and backplate - so I had to pull everything out again and replace the o-ring with the one from Garrett. I noticed that in the reviews for the Garrett o-ring, others have had to replace the o-ring from KC due to leaks. Would be nice if the website made a suggestion to use the Garrett rather than finding out the hard way.

I've got to say I am impressed. This drop in chra was easy to install into my turbo and made a huge difference in how my truck runs, drives and sounds. I also did the ebpv delete with a new garrett non ebpv pedestal and exhaust port the same time i did this turbo upgrade; fixing one of my major oil leaks I was having. Anyhow, my f350 deffinently has more power and the turbo spools up quicker. Oh and It sounds awesome. I would deffinently recommend this if your looking for a cheap but affective way to upgrade your turbo. Thanks riffraff. You got one happy customer here. Love that your a local oregon company too!
