Jimmi' Jammer™ Anti-Theft - Front Doors
What is the Jimmi' Jammer™ ?
A custom formed steel plate that bolts to the backside of your door handle, preventing thieves from prying into the handle seam or punching the lock cylinder into the door. In the picture above the thief pryed under the handle to get at the lock rod inside the door. Others may try to "punch" the lock into the door, breaking the handle plastic, easily and quietly gaining entry. This can be prevented!
Each Jimmi' Jammer™ kit contains:
Two plates, driver + passenger side front. Two window warning labels. Complete installation instructions. Any necessary hardware.

Had my 1999 F350 stolen a few weeks ago. I never fully appreciated how easy it was to steal this model of pickup. These Jimmi Jammer's help prevent the most common method of getting inside the truck.
The hose clamp for the fronts could bring the holiest of men to commit felonious acts. I've read where many people just don't install them. The easiest way for me to install them was to preinstall them outside of the truck onto the door handle, of course leaving the nut off. Then through some careful persuasion, spread the plate away from the stud in the handle and carefully insert into the door without sliding the clamp back off. The first door took 2 hours and a helper doing it by the instructions. The 2nd took about 30 minutes total by myself doing it the way I described.
The backs were done within 5-10 minutes total per side.
Check out some videos of how easy it is to steal this era of superduty and take measures before anything happens. I'd start with these.
Riffraff was the cheapest place I could find them. Glad to help a local Oregon company! -
3 Jimmi Jammer install
Posted by John on May 1st 2022
This was a slightly tough install on a 99 Ford SD. The doors don't have the opening like on what I found online, You basically are looking through a 1-1/4" opening and reaching one handed through on opening that is 10 " away. I left like Edward scissor Hand. First door took 2 hours, Second door, I removed bolt remove window track and moved out of the way, and the using string tied the Lock pawl rod to keep it from falling down. Tried placing a hose clamp one handed and tightening it with the same hand. from 6"-10" away. Time for second door 50 minutes.

Excellent product! Very thorough instructions for install. My 1999 F350 can no longer easily be broken into with a screw driver! And yes I installed the Lockouts as well!

Well worth the money and the 30 mins to install. Can't be too safe with how many of these trucks are stolen any more.
