    Amazing service

As usual, Clay has done it again. My third purchase in 3 months and service has been amazing. Always ships fast and great quality parts.

    Works

Changed this out when I replaced my HPOP, appears to work fine. No issues so far. Daily driver with 84 miles per day on truck now from 10/5/15 to 11/11/15.

    Seems Like a Quality Part

Posted by Unknown on Nov 8th 2015

I bought this product when I replaced my HPOP because my truck had been idling erratically. The part seems to be high quality and a perfect fit, the only thing that I would change is to have more clear instructions for install, I am unsure if I torqued the IPR correctly and I'm hoping it doesn't come back to bite me later. Other than that though, I recommend this product, it is much cheaper than the dealer and fixes uneven idles and no start situations when the truck is hot.

    Why worry

Don't bother worrying about your IPR when you change out your hpop. Put this one on and forget about it!

    Seemed to do the trick

Great service from Riffraff and a great part! I combined this with the new style pigtail sold here. So far so good. Truck is running smoother.

    OEM without the stealership price

What do you want to know? I it's an IPR, just like the one you're looking at replacing, except this one isn't all gunked up. The best advice I can offer is to use a 1-1/8th deep 1/2 inch drive socket. Once you have the tin nut, spacer and armature off, spin the tin nut back on past the threads and it'll allow the socket to reach the hex, but not so far that you can't get the ratchet in. I replaced my IPR without removing anything else.

less than half price of dealer

Posted by John Pitts on Nov 5th 2014

I live in Victoria, BC, Canada and the dealer wanted over $500 for this part. After shipping and duty this was still less than half the price of the dealer for the EXACT same part. Installed part and truck flashed up immediately! Thanks Clay!
