    Better than Amazon!

Posted by Mark on Jan 24th 2017

Bought some parts from Amazon...what a pain! Their billing dept is inept!
Cancelled the order from Amazon, ordered from Riffraff which I heard of from an online forum and no issues whatsoever. Genuine OEM parts, decent pricing, quick shipping, from a business that CAN find its bottom with both hands. Works for me. Thumbs up to Riffraff!

Replaced mine on my 300K truck... runs like a champ again. Tried cleaning and rebuilding my original IPR, no bueno. Just replace it and be on your way.

    IPR

We have 3 generation using Riffraf to keep our 3, 1997 7.3 OBS running. The IPR worked great? The parts are shipped in one day arriving quickly. Riffraff Diesel is our family's go to parts source.

Replaced mine and it made an improvement in running. Engine running smooth and more power. Going to rebuild the old one and keep as a spare.

Might as well relace it whilst you are in there

Replaced HPOP, while I was in there thought I'd replace IPR, easy enough to get too, whilst everything is apart

    Really excited with fingers crossed

So this is my third attempt to try and fix my wife's excursions intermittent no start problem. After the simple cam sensor, still problem, then ICP cause harness was shot and wire insulation gone at connector. Thought that got it but after two weeks without a single problem, the call from the wife... My truck won't start. It was a mystery toe I thought I got it that time. Well after a no start again at the church I crawl over the grill and stuck my hand down to the last place that made sense. The IPR. The female plug at the regulator was wriggly and the harness was again shot. So disconnect reconnect wriggle and she started right up. Second no start later I did same thing and it cranked right up again. So I bought the 200 part and the harness repair. Borrow a LONG 30 mm socket from a neighbor and replaced it, taking my time and removing nothing else in about 2 hours in closing the harness. Topped off my hpop reservoir and the beast started right up but sounded lopey like I installed a cam and not an IPR. Quickly got on line while it useless and read you must work the air out of the oil. So 10 min later it was running smoother idling smoother and I swear drove with less effort. I'm very please and hope this no start is whooped. By the way. My old IPR had scarring around the internal end that looked scary and the wiring harness had a loose wire due to heat and oil I guess. Riffraff thankyou for being my go to shop for stuff like this. And I love the packaging tape with the bible verse!
