HPOP Outlet Hose Fitting - Non Check Valve 99-03 7.3L

This fitting is for 99-03 7.3L High Pressure Oil Pumps. It is the Ford fitting but it has been bored out and you aren't able to run the check ball and spring with it.  If you want to run the check ball and spring you will need F81Z9C402AA instead. We have also put a Viton oring on the base instead of the factory nitrile for added longevity.

    Leaky HPOP no more!

Posted by Brad E on Dec 3rd 2017

O-Ring on original valve was gone and it would fill the valley in 5 minutes with oil. Cheaper than anywhere else online. Buy the Quick Disconnect from here too, its also cheaper than anywhere else online and has a bottle opener on it. The link below is the install video that helped me with it. 25 ft lbs of torque on these guys!! Nothing more!!

cheaper non check valve HPOP outlet fittings

Posted by Unknown on Dec 17th 2016

I didn't want to review the outlet fitting until i tested it. It seems good quality and it's leak free. And it was quite a bit cheaper than the check valve type. However I was told the engine will take an extra second to start. I don't know if that's true, as it's a little hard starting still after the HPOP replacement. Used to take about 1 second, now it's taking about 2 but I haven't driven out the air in the lines yet so we'll see. Would have got 5 stars if it was a second faster starting.

    Now I have a spare.

Not being 100% sure which seal failed, I bought this fitting, and it took care of the leak. (It was the black o-ring that seals onto the HPOP) The good thing is that now I have a spare fitting at the ready once I re-seal that one.
