Works great!
Had a leaking slave cylinder. Clutch wasn't engaging until the very bottom and ground 3rd gear twice in 2 days while shifting. Checked the fluid reservoir and it was dry so pulled the slave to bleed and found the leak. Heard good things about the South Bend setup and Riff Raff has only carried quality parts that I've seen. It is a nice upgrade with the stainless line and it feels more positive, almost stiffer but smoother and easier all at the same time, if that makes sense! Comes pre-bled, just plug and play aside from my heim joint clutch pedal connection. Definitely recommend!

99-03 South bend clutch HD master/slave assy
Using with a Dual disk clutch, works great. Not sure it’s better than oem function wise but I like the metal fittings and braided stainless hose and heat shield. Installed in less than 5 minutes.

Product received busted
The product I received is busted and I have had no success with south bend on it. South bend will not contact you back, have emailed them twice and called several times. All they will say is email and then do nothing on it. I needed the part and unfortunately had to buy another one so I could get the truck back on the road. So in turn have double the money in one part when south bend should have just replaced.

Not As Was Advertised
I bought this kit a couple of weeks ago, mainly for the braided lines and the new switch. The picture at the time showed the switch was included. When I received the kit there was no switch. I contacted Riffraff and they suggested I contact SouthBend Clutch. I contacted them and they matter of factly said the switch is not included, even though it was show prominently right in the middle of the picture. SouthBend said I can just reuse my old switch (that is broken). The switch runs between $40 and $75 separately. The kit was a good deal when it included the switch, not so much without it.

SouthBend hydraulic unit
Installed in my 2000 F250. This replaced my leaky parts house unit. Had NO problems with install. The steel braided hose made fishing the slave cyl down thru the eng compartment much easier. Seems to be of good quality. Time will tell. The pedal push seems a little easier now with this unit. Be sure to pump the pedal a few times before cranking the engine. My pedal was soft in the beginning. After 7-8 pumps the pressure was good. I would recommend.
Hats off to the people at RiffRaff. Good price and quick service. I am a repeat customer.
