OEM hose worked perfectly.

PERFECT FIT

Same as my Review of the Inlet hose. Stay with OEM on these hoses. After being on the truck for 19+ years the plastic end of the hose becomes brittle. Do ALL hoses and you will be doing truck a favor in long run.

This seems to be a high quality hose for my 1999 Ford F350 7.3L diesel. I was able to get the right connection (when facing heater core) off by hand. The left one I had to go rent the tool fro Advance Auto. Hands and forearms got beat up getting these suckers off.. Putting the new ones on requires you to also take off the old white retaining clip and use new ones (these come with new clips). I tried initially to use the old ones and the hoses would slip off when I pulled on them, even though I thought they were on there. I also found some helpful short YouTube videos with great tips. Plan on this taking longer than it should due to Ford's "quick release" design...

Something different with the front and back heat. The original Heater Core Outlet Hose in my Ex has branches and what looks like a valve in it. The inlet hose could be made to work, but took creative routing.
