The included 360 thrust bearing will give you longer life and better performance. These 360 bearings withstand more turbine drive pressure without premature wear and allow for better oiling than the standard 270 thrust bearing on the stock Garrett design.

Turbo and pedestal reseal, Compressor wheel replacement
Bought the 360 degree seal and bearing kit as an upgrade for my tired GTP38 in a '99 superduty with 7.3. Installed a EBPV delete pedestal and plugged the shaft bore in the turbine housing. Shaft play is noticeably less with the new bearings, and turbo no longer runs with a strangled hiss noise from the exhaust. This kit has quality components and sells at a sensible price.

Had the metal ring on the old turbo fail
Turbo was pumped full of oil before this rebuild from the metal ring failing on the turbine. Super easy to install. Instructions list everything I needed turbo is perfect after this no in and out play at all

GTP38 rebuild kit
Very happy with this kit. It came with everything needed to rebuild center section of turbo and with the detailed instructions from Riffraff the turbo went together easily. Was concerned about the compressor housing backplate to center section gasket, but once it was unfolded, it fit into the relief as it should.
This was my first time to rebuild a turbo so I wasn’t sure about trying to do the repair. Using the kit and following the instructions I was able to get the turbo rebuilt and truck running again.

The GTP38 360º BEARING REBUILD KIT 99-03 is a high quality rebuild kit. My truck is up and running and has never been better. The instructions that came with the kit were very helpful and had a lot of pictures for reference. Just like they said in the instructions “ the Turbo bolts are probably missing from the existing housing”. Sure enough the turbo had only 1 bolt holding it together. The bolts that came in the rebuild kit were the perfect replacement. Thanks again Riffraff Diesel!

This rebuild kit worked perfectly and seems very well put together. The instructions were also clear and precise making this a pretty easy job. I would buy this again if needed.

Great
Worked great for rebuilding turbo on my 2000 7.3. Was a little unsure about it because I've never rebuilt one before. Once got started, it was straight forward. Got about 800 miles on it so far and no issues.
