The reason I'm only giving four stars is that the GPR relay I purchased from Riffraff was not an exact Ford GPR replacement. I talked to Riffraff about it and they explained the how this part is approved by Ford and meets their specifications. Honestly I should have just bought the Ford GPR from a dealer for couple bucks more. The GPR I purchased works perfect and has the warranty. I guess in this day and age made in America is kind of a past thing.I have always had good service from Riffraf

Previous owner put some janky relay in. Some Chinese piece. Threw this in no problems. Clay always has the parts for way less than everyone else. Have yet to be disappointed! The only way this could be better is if it came with a replacement nut for the studs that it sits on cuz mine was a weird size that I didnt have a socket for and it was rusted, so it took me about an hour to get it off, if I had put blaster on it a day or so before I messed with it probably wouldnt have been an issue.

The GPR arrived earlier than expected, installed without problems and resolved my cold start problems immediately.

Quality ford part that is cheaper than a napa relay

My '99 Powerstroke was getting hard to start when it got cold (even moderately), blowing white smoke when it started, and my old GPR was getting so hot that it actually melted the boot covering the wire coming from the battery! So, clearly time to change out the relay!

I looked around at some of the aftermarket relays but just didn't feel comfortable saving a few bucks on a relatively unknown component. I also looked at some of the "monster" relays, but I live in the suburbs of Portland, Oregon, and it usually just doesn't get cold enough to need the power these relays provide. I also like the stock mounting position of the OEM relay, not 180 degrees out or sideways like some of these other relays on the market. So, back to RiffRaff for the best price and quick shipping on the OEM part. Besides, Ford put that particular relay in there for a reason, right?!

Truck was having some starting issues. It's not that expensive to have an extra! Did glow plugs, relay, and the wiring harness. Starts like a champ! Came in a protected package. Right on time. Great company to work with for PSD
