Was getting DTC's P1395 and P1396 (97' CA Model). Fixed that by going back to Motorcraft GP's from only getting about a year worth from Napa Echlin brand. Then after a few starts, got P1391 and P1393. My old aftermarket GPR finally carbon up enough to have an unacceptable voltage drop across the terminals after 8 years, so can't complain with that longevity. Replaced with this one and back in business with no codes and much faster cold startups. How many years I get out of this Alliant GPR is TBD. Only complaint is if I mount on both OEM studs, it's not positioned correctly to use the shunt, so only one mount stud used that also secures the shunt block. It's secure so no big deal, just an FYI to other 97' CA model owners.

Had this irritating check engine light on, threw my OBD reader on said it voltage, glow plugs, anyway after talking to the man himself, he suggested replacing the glow plug relay, sure enough no CEL

Had cold start problems at 45 degrees. Isolated problem at the glow plug relay. This product had lock washers where the OEM did not. Changed out the relay and so far truck started up at 29 degree. This fixed the problem. Fast delivery!

My 2001 F250 was taking longer to start in the morning. Have purchased GPR from Napa in the past but they don't seem to last as long. Been updating the truck with parts from RiffRaff and have been happy with their service. This part arrived earlier than expected, cleared up my issues and all at a great price. Had quite a bit of white smoke when starting after working ten hours in the cold. After installing this relay most of the white smoke is gone. This only takes about fifteen to thirty minutes to install, and as always an awesome price. Thank you for having everything I need.
