A must have for all 7.3 owners

Let me just say that this turbo was more than what i expected. Amazing performance and sound ! Lower egt ,more power and quicker spool up.

    38r w billet wheel

Posted by Chris Butler, tampa fl on Apr 27th 2015

This is what a 7.3 should have been from factory, I had a great custom ( stock) turbo that worked very well for towing and daily driving, when I put this turbo on, it completely changed the I felt about keeping it stock. It spools like lightening and tows like it is on steroids. If you own a 7.3 and don't have one then you are missing out on what your truck can actually do. Just wish I got one sooner

Best drop in upgrade by far

Posted by Unknown on Mar 29th 2015

I am absolutely impressed. Spool up time is great, sounds very very nice. RiffRaff had the turbo at my door in around 3 days. EGT's are down by ~100-150 degrees. Definately a nice upgrade from the stock turbo.

Pushin about 7-10lb boost cruising with no load at 55-60mph. Seeing around 20-25 lb boost WOT in combination with the tunes I have.

One of the best purchases I have made for my truck for sure.

    sounds great

Great upgrade not as loud as I thought it would be but you can still hear the spool up :) you can definitely tell there is more air flow seeing it out performs my stock turbo with a ww. And not needing as much boost. I also installed a billet wheel before I installed much lighter then the stock wheel that comes with the turbo

For the money, great replacement for my old turbo

Posted by Quentin B on Dec 2nd 2014

It's an excellent stock turbo replacement. I had some trouble fitting the intake boot to the turbocharger, but it went in after a little finagling. I'm bone stock other than this turbo and a T500 hpop. I didn't notice any increase in fuel economy, nor any power increase, but again I'm bone stock. I replaced my old turbo just because it had 200k on it. I feel so far this turbo works perfectly as a stock replacement. With mods, I'm sure it would outperform the stock turbo, but it works exactly as it should as a plug and play, long lasting stock replacement.
