AWESOME TURBO
Ordered from RIFF RAFF. Very fast shipping. Turbo went on fairly easily with hand tools. Turbo definitely has a different sound, whistles but kinda sounds like a supercharger or star wars laser gona when you let off the throttle. I love it@

Don't hesitate
I spent over a year trying to figure out what kind of turbo set up to go with for my tuned 2001 F250 w/ZF6. Thought about H2e, etc... I just installed the 38r with a billet wheel and up pipes (ceramic coated) and am completely satisfied. Sounds awesome, spool up is lighting quick and she can burn 35" rubber with ease. Price and service excellent from riff raff. Thanks!!!!

Best mod yet
This is the best mod i have done to my truck yet. The sound is awesome an the pulling power is great for a mild build. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a 7.3!

Not happy with the GTP38R!
02' F-350 ZF-6
All these 5 stars and great reviews convinced me to purchase the 38r, but I gotta say I'm not happy.
My truck lost it's low-end kick, that used to pull you back in the seat! I was running the stock turbo with the ATS compressor housing. Stock turbo was running 3-5 psi boost @ 50 mph with the cruise on flat ground. Now it's not even boosting @ 65 going up an overpass...falling flat on it's face! Was hitting 30-35 psi max with wide-open-throttle too, but now not even half that. Top end speed is a lot higher, but top-end doesn't kick a Camaro's azz at a traffic light, or pull a dump-trailer full of stone! I gave it 3 stars cause the reliability of the ball-bearings. -
I don't know why Ford didn't run these turbos in first place
Shipping was fast got the 38r installed and working fine you can tell a difference. Now got to do stage 1 injectors

I received the turbo and did the install. I did a lot of research in a turbo replacement for my stock F550 flatbed wrecker and needed a reliable update with better performance. The GTP38R I feel fit the needs and are pleased with the performance of my truck.
