GTP Center cartridge
Little bit of scratching to the hot side impeller, most likely caused by assembler not being careful enough; but overall happy with the price and product.

Garrett GTP-38 Center Cartridge
Worked great. I bought a rebuild kit for my turbo and it leaked worse than the ones I took out. :D Figured the housing was worn out so I went this route. Took no time at all to install and contrary to some Youtube University videos you DO NOT need to disassemble it to install. Just go at the 8mm 12pts from the side. with some patience.

Great part
Fit was perfect did not have to disassemble cartridge just took an extra couple minutes installing the new turbo outlet bolts. The directions for removal and replacement where pretty spot on the only negative thing i can say is there was a couple extra O-rings which i assume were for between the block and pedestal which you don't have to remove unless you just feel froggy that where not mentioned in the directions.

Nice solution for a destroyed center section, but should come unassembled
I had to rebuild a customer's turbo, and when I went to add up all the separate parts, it made good sense just to purchase this entire assembly. If these are all genuine parts, then I understand why it doesn't come with the anti-surge wheel, but that would be a plus. Also, since you have to tear it down to bolt it to your housing, there was no need for it to be tightly assembled like it is; you just have to take it all apart anyway. I would have preferred it to be in kit form, as that would actually have taken less time. This way you have to do 2 teardowns, but overall a nice piece!

Easy Install
I purchased this instead of having mine rebuilt. For not much more than I was quoted on a rebuild, got the entire center cartridge brand new from Garrett and didn't have to deal with the down time of sending the Turbo out. In all took about 2 hours or less between pulling the turbo and swapping the housings (I own a repair facility so I had all the needed tools and I have removed turbo's from these trucks before, so probably take longer at home, I also have the EBPV deleted, so some time savings there). The inside of the exhaust wheel was destroyed on mine, after replacing it with this the truck is a totally different beast. Strongly recommend this product over a build as you know it was done by Garrett with factory parts. Not much you can do wrong lining up the housings, however at least in mine there was "slight" play on the intake side, so pay close attention that the housing isn't touching the intake wheel.
