the problem is the washer head is to small ,it ducked into the housing. I put on a 1/4 " flat washer, and it worked. I found a fix mentioned above

    Order these

Posted by Matt S on Jul 6th 2023

I failed to include these on my initial order of parts to rebuild my turbo and had to make another order. You definitely don’t want to reuse any of your original bolts from the exhaust/turbine side. Order two or three packs of these and you’ll be good. TP38 requires 3 for the exhaust outlet, four to bolt the center cartridge to the turbine housing, four to bolt the compressor backplate to the center cartridge, and four to bolt the compressor housing to the compressor housing backplate.
