7.3L Diesel Fuel Rail Crossover™ (FRx) 99-03 Powerstroke
"The Prescription For Your Fuel System Needs®"
Our 2nd Generation FRx™ System utilizes Eaton Aeroquip® 304 Stainless Steel Braided lines covered with a groundbreaking protective layer of HYTREL® from DuPont.
The FRx™ was made to solve the 'deadhead' fuel rail issue on the 99-03 Powerstroke engine by connecting the two heads and allowing a metered return you allow the air another return path, rather than forcing it through your injectors. This product was designed to eliminate the need to cut your return line and use compression fittings, so that it is a true bolt on system. We have also machined the FRx™ block to provide from stock to 72 psi of fuel pressure depending on which spring you choose to install it with. By using our kit and eliminating the air in the fuel system you can experience smoother, quieter idle, less cackle, and better throttle response among other things. You will also be increasing your injector life as well by utilizing the FRx™ and creating a regulated return back to the tank. Protective covers are also pre-installed to prevent chaffing of engine components from the SS braided line. These covers are also great if you want to keep the system looking OE and not draw attention to it once installed.

FRx HPx and Fuel Feed Lines
Have had on an 02 250 for about a year now with thousands of miles put on the FRx. I installed at the same time as my HPx and fuel feed lines from Riffraff so thought I would put the review on here since it is most common for people to do all three at the same time anyways. With both my idle was definitely quieted down and idle was cleaned up some from the cackle of the eighth injector. Cruising at 70 to 75 the truck is so much quieter. No need to turn the radio up to hear the music anymore and can have a conversation with someone in the back seat. Can even catch yourself getting up to 80 without realizing it that is how much smoother and quieter these two upgrades make the truck. The one thing that took some time was the feed line going to the passenger side head. I did not take the turbo out but believe it would have made inserting the line 100 times easier. But very doable with some patience and about 30 minutes. Overall the three upgrades are very much worth the time and money.

FRX
Quality part as all their stuff. Goes on easy enough and my idle is way quiter. A mixture of this and the banjo bolts and CVD fittings I can hear myself inside the cab now taking me a minute to get use to

Fuel Rail Crossover FRX
Smoothed out my 7.3 and took the clank out of it. Better acceleration and quieter cruising at 70. 2002 F250

This Kit is extremely well designed and the installation went very smoothly considering the difficult spots on the head the hoses have to connect to. My engine sounds much quieter now and I noticed an improved throttle response which my 7.3 desperately needed!
The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the lack of a long stem, steel jumper line, or heat resistant sleeve for the line that runs to the back on the drivers side near the turbo. I was not comfortable with how close the hose was to that intense heat so I had to scab in some Kevlar heat shielding which would have been much easier to do when the hoses where built. -
Regulated Return
I already put one of these on my 1999 7.3, and just finished install on a new to me 2002 7.3. This is by far one of the best fuel system mods you can do. Ford was so short sighted to not produce the 7.3 with something like this already on it to help out your injectors. Install is straight forward, and Riffraff has made some changes as it was even easier than the system I put on about 8 years ago.

Bonus!
Tons of video help, just take your time and follow each step. As an added bonus, my kit came with the socket required to remove the square plug. Customer service is very responsive and shipping was as promised. Highly recommend!

7.3 Fuel Rail Crossover
Installed the HPX, FRX, banjo bolts and SS fuel feed lines on my 2001 F250 with 7.3 a couple of weeks ago. Not sure on fuel mileage improvements yet, however, I do think it runs a bit smoother and quieted it down some. This is not my daily driver so haven't even put a full tank of fuel thru it so not alot of feed back at the time.

This was by far the best add on I've done so far. Riff Raff will be my go to for future upgrades! Truck runs so much better. Also bought the SS braided fuel lines at the same time and everything worked out great! No more leaks and better responsiveness from the engine. Thank you guys again.
