Our 2nd Generation FRx™ System utilizes Eaton Aeroquip® 304 Stainless Steel Braided lines covered with a groundbreaking protective layer of HYTREL® from DuPont.

The FRx™ was made to solve the 'deadhead' fuel rail issue on the 99-03 Powerstroke engine by connecting the two heads and allowing a metered return you allow the air another return path, rather than forcing it through your injectors. This product was designed to eliminate the need to cut your return line and use compression fittings, so that it is a true bolt on system. We have also machined the FRx™ block to provide from stock to 72 psi of fuel pressure depending on which spring you choose to install it with. By using our kit and eliminating the air in the fuel system you can experience smoother, quieter idle, less cackle, and better throttle response among other things. You will also be increasing your injector life as well by utilizing the FRx™ and creating a regulated return back to the tank. Protective covers are also pre-installed to prevent chaffing of engine components from the SS braided line. These covers are also great if you want to keep the system looking OE and not draw attention to it once installed.

    I was skeptical about some of the claims in the description, but man, they were all true. I switched my 00 7.3 to single shot injectors and was disappointed about how loud the idle was, and just not running really smooth. Installed the FRx, and magically the truck runs like a top, idles smooth and quiet, throttle response is great, and even at highway speeds, truck is way quieter. 10/10 for the FRx, easy to follow instructions online, install was a breeze.

    Great product but buy the socket to take out the square bolts took us 4 hours to install without it since we could not find a socket to fit. We had to weld up a tool. With the socket you could do this 30 minutes

    This is definitely worth it. As everyone else has stated it quiets the engine noise, better throttle response, and just makes everything work smoother. I have an early 99 so i did have to grind a bit to get the back line to fit. Everything else was easy install. I definitely recommend getting the 9/32 square socket to take out the plugs. That made it way easier. Great upgrade.

    There’s so many mixed feeling about this MOD.
    I can personally say you must get this, the throttle response is spot on.
    The 8th injector is so quiet now, along with the others. Huge difference on my 2001 Excursion
    My tires are now louder then motor going down the highway.

    Kept leaking at block, sealed it twice. Finally pulled O ring , my luck oring was bad. Other than that easy install working well.

    This one of the best mods out of many excellent!
    You save a nice little penny not going with Fuel Bowl Delete!
    You just can not turn up the pressure with this mod!
    But I’m good with it 200 we’ll spent!

    Still under review on how it holds up, simple to install but end are a pain to line up and almost look to be going crooked but that is correct, wasnt able to put any thread sealer on but secures very nicely once tighten time will tell how loak proof it is, over all product is top quality!

    If you haven't done this mod I would recommend! Had installed in my e99 7.3 and man what a difference! From a little to zero classic 7.3 crackle. And the quality and design of this is out of this world.
