Our 2nd Generation FRx™ System utilizes Eaton Aeroquip® 304 Stainless Steel Braided lines covered with a groundbreaking protective layer of HYTREL® from DuPont.
The FRx™ was made to solve the 'deadhead' fuel rail issue on the 99-03 Powerstroke engine by connecting the two heads and allowing a metered return you allow the air another return path, rather than forcing it through your injectors. This product was designed to eliminate the need to cut your return line and use compression fittings, so that it is a true bolt on system. We have also machined the FRx™ block to provide from stock to 72 psi of fuel pressure depending on which spring you choose to install it with. By using our kit and eliminating the air in the fuel system you can experience smoother, quieter idle, less cackle, and better throttle response among other things. You will also be increasing your injector life as well by utilizing the FRx™ and creating a regulated return back to the tank. Protective covers are also pre-installed to prevent chaffing of engine components from the SS braided line. These covers are also great if you want to keep the system looking OE and not draw attention to it once installed.

It work well
I got this after watching videos, and it works really well. I put it on my 2002 f350 7.3. Made a big difference the truck ran a lot smoother and quieter. I would recommend it to anyone with a 7.3.

FRX
Great product! Just changed my injectors for a 2001 7.3 PSD about 500 miles ago. (Had about 208K on the original injectors.) Obviously the new injectors helped out with a quicker start (maybe a little power?) and made the truck more quiet. Figured since I'd already invested the time and $$$$ for injectors this would be some good insurance. Believe it or not, its even quieter now and seems to idle even more smoothly and the throttle response has improved as well.

Very happy
I have a 99 f350 4x4 7.3. I am very happy with the modifications I have done so far. The engine does 10 more miles per hour up a 5% grade from 52 mph to 60 mph pulling three horse trailer. Mpg is up 2., from 9.5 to 11.5, Clay knows this motor. Looking forward to maintaining this motor with riffraff up grades.

Clean install, quality system and way less expensive than anything else on the market. Maintaining 64psi now and the idle and startup are smooth and fast.

FUEL RAIL PRESSURE
THE PRESSURE WAS TESTED BEFORE WE INSTALLED THE FUEL CROSS OVER AND OUR PRESSURE PEGGED OUT OVER 100. AFTER INSTALLING THE CROSS OVER THE PRESSURE DROPPED TO THE PRESSURE IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE WHICH WAS BETWEEN 65 TO 70 LBS OF FUEL PRESSURE. AWESOME FIX FOR OUR DIESEL 7.3. THANKS,

Does the job
I installed this item when replacing the busted factory regulator. The engine is a little smoother running and definitely quieter. I don't feel anymore major power drop when pulling in the higher RPM range - I presume this is helping. I noticed nothing in the way of throttle response or any other power/performance change - But, that's not the point. It's a pain to install the fitting on the driver side.
