Alliant Fuel Pressure Regulator "Blue Spring" Kit (AP0086) 03-07 6.0L
Taking only 30 minutes to install the new updated Ford "Blue Spring" will increase your fuel pressure back up to where it should be from the factory. Most 6.0's see an increase of 8-10 psi of fuel pressure. The added fuel pressure will help keep the injectors from out flowing the stock fuel pump, meaning no air in the injectors, and an injector that will live much longer. Most trucks will actually quite down a little at idle, rev up a lot quicker and with the added fuel pressure, a little quicker spool up on the turbo. The kit does include all the O-Rings and hard parts to install the blue spring kit.

an upgrade every truck needs.. holds pressure overnite, the pump doesn't even run when you turn the key to await the glowplug lite to go out.. the truck barely even rolls over before its running .. a lot less strain on a lot of other parts.. I'm no hard core diesel mechanic , but I'm no idiot either & I can tell you this is a part that will save injector wear, & is an upgrade everyone needs .. riff raff had the best pricing on this factory ford part .. thanks guys..

very well put together kit
This kit worked perfect my truck is now pushing about 65-70 psi at idle and 55-60 psi wot. I couldn't ask for any more it is great and very easy to do.

Very nice
About as cheap as you can find. You really don't need the cover unless yours is somehow damaged. Took about thirty minutes to put in and works as its intended. I just undid the hose going to the thermostat and moved it out of my way to get at this, and it took about 30 minutes mostly because I took my time and had a beer. You MIGHT notice a humming noise for a short period of time following but that is normal. I've referred other PSD owners to this on RiffRaff because its cheap and came fast. Even beat the local International dealer on price.

Blue Spring Upgrade for 6.0l Powerstroke
Works as advertised, my fuel pressure is now 68psi at idle and drops to 54psi at WOT. No more worries about damaging injectors. This kit is the cheapest I've found and doesn't include the cover, which often times isn't needed.

I was hesitant between a couple sites to purchase from, but due to Riffraff's reputation on PSD forums and correspondence of various questions in the past, I opted to purchase from them. I used the web for instructions (plate cover o-ring was leaking), since I have an 2006 F350 and the kit is universal for 2003-2007.5 6.0L PSD(s). Truck has 163k miles and a much crisper throttle response vice beforehand.
