Part fits perfect, perfect replacement for my OEM cap that was leaking.

This fit much better than the one originally on the truck. The lid was different and the O ring was beveled compared to just a thick ring that was on there. Sealed first time no issues. The O ring sealed below the cap and is not visible where as the other one was still visible with the cap tightened down. Much better design than the cheesy aftermarket units they put out.

I needed this part because I bought one of those filters that came with its own lid. What I didn't know was if you want to go back to the ford factory filter, it won't fit into the lid that came with the aftermarket filter. (The aftermarket filter lid don't have the slots that the ford filter uses to attach itself to.) Ford wanted $100.00 for the lid that I got here for $13.00! PLUS the lid I got here came with the correct gasket too! That's AWESOME! A+++
