This is an efficiency tool. Get it.
How long does it take you to change your oil? It'll be far less without having to extract your drain plug, clean it up (and maybe your hand) and then re-insert it without stripping it. Each time it's a dance of having no leaks from the plug and not stripping it. Well, no more. Alright, only one last time as you fit this valve to your pan. Sure it sticks down a little, but it's not very much (esp on a 4x4) and the convenience is well worth it.

Hands down the BEST darn thing available. I HATE getting oil all over my hands when I pull a drain plug. This thing is great. I have one on my 94.5 7.3L and one on my Dad's 96. If I ever get around to checking the thread pitch on my other vehicles, and it matches, I'll be getting these for them too.
