I usually don't rate products,,, but I had to on this one

Posted by Freddie on Mar 18th 2016

I have a couple of 7.3 PSDs, I have installed quite a few bolt on and electronic performance products. I ended up needing to replace the HPOP. I installed the Adrenaline HPOP on the truck and it made a huge difference and brought my engine and the performance enhancements to life........ But during the removal of my old HPOP I noticed this tube had been corroded and broken in half so I ordered it. I drove around 2 weeks with the new pump, but I just received this little piece installed it in about 30 minutes and MANNN what a difference. My truck smoothed out completely on the shifts, idle, and letting off the throttle when going down a hill or coming to the stop sign. This little $50 part I feel has made more of a difference then my $1000 HPOP. I am going to order enough to put on the rest of my 7.3s and to have as a spare. They really made that much of a difference. I really keep up on my 7.3's and for me to see this big of a difference I just had to post. Great Great Buy!
The only hassle with installing it is either threat the top end first since the fitting will make its way down and you will not be able to get it back up without removing the hose completely and starting all over again.

    Exact fit 2002 Ford F250 7.3 - Better shifting...

Posted by Steve Windsor on Feb 1st 2016

My tube was BUSTED IN HALF! That explained a lot. One thing this did was smooth things out and my shifting got really smooth after. Replaced EBP sensor at same time.

Reamed the fitting between tube and sensor with a .22 Cal Brass gun cleaning kit brush. Did same to the exhaust inlet. My exhasust inlet fitting was siezed in place, so didn't replace yet.

If you use gun cleaning kit brush make sure you attack one of the rods to it so you don't lose the brush inside your exhaust. (Almost)

This part is very important for fueling and shifting

Mine was rotted. Once replaced in conjunction with a new Exhaust back pressure sensor, my truck ran smoother, quieter, and shifted better, in addition to more power and better throttle response. This system is critical!

Perfect replacement for OEM tube. For the price, it is worth it just to replace the tube. I buy all of my stuff from Riffraff, great customer service!
