This is not an equivalent replacement, but rather a replacement in function. There's nothing wrong with this dipstick. It's just not identical to the original. This part doesn't have a removable handle with a roll pin like the original. Lastly, the original has a thicker and wider strip of metal. The replacement seems cheap by comparison, but it is the Ford replacement part. Works as is should.
