6.0L Driver Side Metal Intercooler CAC Tube Kit - Ford 03-07
This will replace your driver side plastic CAC/ Intercooler tube on 2004.5-2006 6.0L Powerstrokes. If you choose the "intercooler tube" option then it will come with the standard black Ford boots.
Kit includes:
- Ford OEM CAC Tube and Boots
- Riffraff Diesel CAC Boots (Selection Optional)
- SS T-Bolt clamp kit
This kit only fits F-Series that have the plastic CAC tube on the driver side.
Ford cac tube only comes with 3 clamps, unless you order our boots. Then we send new clamps for them.
Replaces 6C34-6C646-BC plastic tube and 6C3Z-6C640-AA Metal Tube

Perfect solution to Ford plastic penny pinching problem!
From the moment I got my 6.0 I always believed that the plastic CAC cannot form the best seal to prevent boost leakage. W/ 300k miles, yep all original!, I figured it was time to upgrade/replace the plastic unit.
While installing new exhaust up-pipes I pressure tested the intake system and found that the plastic does allow some air to slip past even at low pressure. There were no other leaks but I wanted to get all the air my KC turbo was making into the motor.
The new aluminum CAC pipe and boots bolted right up no problem. Typical of the 6.0 I had to remove a bunch of cr@p to get the old one out and the new RR unit in place. Things bolted right up and once I got the boots cinched down tight enough, viola' perfection!
Simple easy "upgrade". IMHO Ford cut $$ corners and went plastic over the aluminum as I believe the aluminum should have remained standard. Don't get me started on the plastic end tanks for the radiator and intercooler....

ALSO, at cruise I went from approximately 3lbs of boost at 75 mph to 5-7lbs of boost empty and gained almost 1 mpg on a recent 1200 mile road trip!! -

Cheaper and better than factory looks great and fits like a glove dont have to worry about pipe blowing out will definitely shop riff raff again got my powerstroke rolling cole again!!!!!

Great quality and super fast shipping
I live in Canada so to receive a shipment in less then a week. Thats great. The quality of the metal pipe vs the OEM plastic. Believe it or not the cost of the metal Riffraff pipe with boots and delivery, with exchange was cheaper then going to the dealer here in Canada.

Replace your plastic tube!
This is a great replacement to get rid of your plastic cac drivers side pipe. My buddy was towing and his tube blew a hole right through it. Now with this metal pipe I don't have to worry about that!
A must have for your 6.0!
