Holds more oil and better filtering
It definitely a tight fit. But it fits and does what it should.

Only issue is you need a bigger filter wrench as it’s bigger than the factory filter.

I love these filters, they allow you to add a couple extra quarts of oil and filter better than any other filter I've ever used. Normally my oil is black after a few hundred miles but when using these filters it isn't black until after a few thousand miles.

Ask any diesel owner what their oil looks like before and after an oil change. They will probably say it looks the same but with this filter the oil in my 2000 7.3 powerstroke stays amber colored for well over 3000 miles. This filter truly cleans the oil flowing through it.
