Easy Install
This replaced a regular 6637 which performed well for me on my 7.3 (intake internals filter to turbo look "new"). It was due to be replaced - this was a no brainer. Rubber flange on this filter seems to be more robust/thicker - barely had enough band slack to install. Works great!

Blue Filter
Excellent breathability and protection at the same time! I will never run K&N or comparable on anything I run daily like my Powerstroke or anything turbocharged for that matter. I’ve seen too many turbos chewed up from high volume air socks letting too much trash through and not enough filtration. This is something I should’ve done years ago when I bought the truck and deleted my old air box. I was reluctant to do a mod or cold air intake because of huge lack in good filtration on many of those setups. I found the solution! This is it!

Fits perfect
Used this to replaced a regular 6637 but these supposedly flow much higher CFM.

Finally, a Donaldson Blue for 7.3s
Works great, tons of filtration without sacrificing air flow. If you have an aftermarket intake and care about not dusting your engine, you'll get this as opposed to an oiled filter (looking at you, K&N).
I don't have much negative to say other than a few availability or application critiques. Filter is proprietary and can't be ordered except through here. If it were a half centimeter larger in any dimension I probably wouldn't be able to close the hood.
Bought this after I went a whole 10k miles on a K&N with a course filtration bag on it, and the oiled filter still managed to clog to the point of collapsing.
The amount of air the Donaldson can take in without impedance has reduced exhaust smoke under heavy load, as well as reduced coolant temperature.
Disposable filters are already in this price range, might as well get the best one you can. -

High quality
Can't say I've noticed a huge difference between the regular and this one, but I'm also on tired injectors, no tunes and have boost/exhaust leaks I need fixed first. However it's a high quality filter and I will purchase this again over the AFE or the regular 6637.

Donaldson Blue 6637 Filter
This filter really let my engine breath a large amount of air. I also mike the fact that the media is hydrophobic. I will definitely buy this filter from RiffRaff again.
