So far so good. 2000 7.3

Posted by Unknown on May 17th 2017

I had the truck turning off in the rain particularly with the wipers on intermittent setting. When taking my foot off the gas and the motor going to idle towards a stop sign the truck would suddenly turn off, or standing at a sign or light after driving in the rain. On the highway it would sputter occasionally. After putting into park or neutral it would start immediately.
We had a few heavy rains since and I had no issues. I also put the die-electric grease on the connection to make sure it's insulated.

Works as it should for my 2000 7.3

Posted by Mr. Z on Apr 25th 2017

Ordered on a Wednesday night and it was in my mailbox on Friday! Truck use to sputter and when it rained, it would shut down while driving. Could never get up to speed either. Took me honestly 8 minutes to install. Great OEM part and price. Thank you!!!

    Code P0284 Cylinder In-Balance

Posted by Bill on Jan 15th 2017

I have a 02, 7.3, with a # 8 Cylinder in-balance. Replacing the Gray CPS was a major improvement with the idle, power and milage, the code also went away, The truck runs better than ever!

A bonus, replacing the old gray CPS was the cause of a annoying oil leak, O-Ring was broken.

Riffraff, has great service, on time delivery and they are super knowledgeable and willing to help.

    Thanks Riffraff,
