Truck kept dying at idle. Clay recommended to replace this as a first step in troubleshooting. Truck seems to run great now! Thanks.

CPS solved my intermittent dying issues

Posted by Craig on Oct 14th 2019

Not only did this sensor come super fast after I placed my order, but it fixed my intermittent dying problem!!! I have a 1995 F250 7.3L and it would occasionally die when parked at idle... it died twice pulling into a parking spot. It would always start right back up again. And it would try dying while going down the road in the form of a big hiccup that would sometimes give the truck a nice jolt... hasn’t happened since installing this new CPS module!

    CPS (CMP) sensor FATZ-12K073-C

Posted by Dean on Sep 29th 2019

Excellent. In the 21 years l've had my truck it's never run so well. Smoother idle and acceleration. This is my 5th CPS and I have a feeling it will be my last. I had one that would hiccup several times a day. The others failed without warning that left me on the side of the road(including the light gray recall one). Best to keep a spare in the glovebox with a 10 mm ratchwrench or socket and a screwdriver. To save problems use only OEM sensors here as I have found out.

Great OEM sensor from a great distributer

Posted by Trevor Glynn on Sep 8th 2019

If you’re looking for a OEM sensor to replace the original, this is the one for you. As expected, it worked as it should and was surprisingly easy to install. Clay is very helpful and quick to ship. Thanks!
